Frequently Asked Questions:
| What you use to select the signals? |
The basis for the signals are technical, fundamental and insider activity in the relevant stocks our model monitors. We use several filter criteria to arrive to the final candidates. After that we try to find suitable options for the trade, if no options are available we only signal the stock trade. If an option is available we signal both, the stock and the option to trade.
|
| Trading Frequency |
On average we have 1-5 trades per month. Of course we don't force the trades, and if there are no good trading opportunities we pass and stay in cash for that day. Its easy to show triple returns with a high number of trades per day (2-10 trades daily), problem is that fees and slippage reduce those gains significantly in the trader account. Is more difficult to select few candidates that are poised to have double digit gains in the next 30 days.
|
| Average Holding Period |
| The holding period is a maximum of 30 days, if not stopped before. Members receive stop loss in advance, so you have the complete plan in your computer before entering the trade. |
| Do you send intraday alerts? |
| No, we only update the members page once a day with the daily instructions valid for the whole day. |
| Signals Release time |
| Signals are released at 9:00 pm New York time. Subscribers have time to receive and react to the signals. |
Do you send alert emails? |
Yes, email alerts are also delivered when new signals are issued. |
| Do you trade stocks and options? |
Yes, our searching criteria is based on stocks. If an option is available we will also signal, if not we only signal the stock trade. Many stock trades also generate rich double digit gains, so is a good add-ons for the option trades. |
| My subscription covers stocks and options? |
Yes, one subscription covers both signals, stocks and options. |
| Can I enter the orders at different time? |
| Yes, some members prefer to time the signals with technical indicators. For example entering them when stochastic show oversold conditions, or stocks are at support levels or crossing major moving averages. Since you know in advance the stocks you have time to plan your entry. |
| Time required to trade the system |
| The system doesn't require you to watch the intraday market. You only need to check for alerts at 9 PM, even stop losses are managed on an end of day basis. |
| Number of open positions and allocation |
The average number of open positions for the system is 1 to 6. There are many possible account allocations for our signals, you can trade in even number of options (i.e. 2 options contracts per trade), or in equal % amounts (i.e. 10% of your account in each trade), etc. Allocation is an integral part of money management. You should evaluate the position sizes you will be taking. Allocation will have a direct impact on the returns in your account. The system is designed to be traded in equal dollar amounts, all trades have the same probability to raise in value from the system point of view. Questions dealing with “how to” allocate funds, margins or anything that deal with YOUR individual account and/or individual situation need to be addressed to your broker(s) or registered financial advisor. |
| Risk Capital, account size |
| Most brokers require $2,000-$5,000 to open a trading account. No matter how good a system looks, how good a system performs or how much money it makes. Only "Risk Capital" or "Risk Funds" should be used in trading. A person who does not have "Risk Capital" or "Risk Funds" (funds you can afford to lose) should not trade in the market. |
| Drawdown considerations |
The formula generally accepted is to calculate twice the historical draw down when calculating capital requirements. Remember options are high leveraged instruments, so they are very volatile by nature. While the loss of an option is limited to the premium you paid, it's also possible to lose all of the value in a very short time.
